A Happier You - 3 Things To Stop Doing To Yourself

Of course we all want to be happy in a sense at least I mean to a certain degree. Most of the time when we think of achieving happiness we often focus on the things we should start doing for ourselves in quest to reach such a goal.  But let's stop for a moment and ponder the idea of actually focusing more on what to stop doing to yourself instead.

Looking at it from such a perspective we all know its much easier to stop doing something than it is to start. Three of the most important are briefly explained here. Making some kind of effort to address one or all of these aspects of life will for sure bring about a positive change in way shape or form.

Everyone seems to be in search for happiness, yet few really understanding that it is indeed a lifelong search and could take a lifetime and yet still go unfulfilled. Fortunately Happiness and being Happy are two different things. You can be happy in your current state of being. Although there could be several factors that contribute to the negative mindset you may currently have. These "3 Things To Stop Doing To Yourself" could lead to a much happier outlook on life.

As I said before instead of looking for things to start doing try looking at things you should stop doing...

* 1. Stop - Spending time with the wrong people - Plain and simple no excuses. It really doesn't matter if they are lifelong friends or even close relatives. Life is just too short to spend it with the wrong people. By that I mean you matter and deserve to be happy so stop spending time with people that literally "Suck the happiness out of you"   by that I mean people that insist on taking a pessimistic approach to life in general. Your life they're life, the world in general pretty much their entire existence is somewhat bleak. You could spend years trying to "convince" them otherwise. Don't fight for a space. If someone wants you in their life they will make adequate room for you period. You should never have to compete or audition for anyone's time, anyone. And most important always remember its not the people that stand with you while you on top of the world, true friends stand alongside you when your at your worst as well.

* 2. Stop - Running from your problems - They will be there when you get back! So face them head on and actually learn from the experience. Were just not built to handle everything perfectly, we have feelings and emotions that sometime overwhelm us. We to get upset, hurt and confused when things don't turn out as expected or desired. We should in fact stumble and fall occasionally so we can learn how to face our problems understand and hopefully overcome them. This is not something to fear to run away from this is life and  problems are a part of life, not the way life is. How we deal with our problems is in many ways what defines us a person we become.

* 3. Stop - Lying to yourself - You can still lie to anyone else on the planet, just not to yourself. We all know it takes a lot sometimes for us to be honest with ourselves 100%. It is in most cases uncomfortable in some cases even painful. Yet the honesty you choose to show within yourself clearly projects to those around you. The level you chose to use is closely tied in with the amount of integrity you display as well. which all somehow ties into one of most important characteristics, integrity.  So take a chance because life only improves when you get better at it. When you step out of your comfort zone and make a conscious effort to improve, honestly improve. To go about it in different way altogether, the happy way.
